On October 27th and 28th, the 5th Consortium Meeting of TransBioLine took place in Barcelona, where nearly 50 Consortium members met face to face for the first time after the pandemic.

The 5th Consortium Meeting of TransBioLine was a great opportunity for all project partners and external experts to meet F2F (and virtually) and enhance collaboration as well as share project updates, mainly within the area of project sustainability.

The first day was dedicated to the sustainability of the Project. TransBioLine partners brainstormed on the legacy of the Project, potential desirable future situations, and ideal outcomes. This internal exercise was intended to carefully ensure long-term sustainability of TransBioLine outputs. Brainstorming sessions were held in smaller groups to focus on several key topics to build a TransBioLine sustainability plan.
During the second day, scientific progress was shared and discussed, and extensive feedback from Scientific and Ethical Advisory Board members was received.

We thank all the participants, both in-person and virtual attendees, for this extremely productive event, and SYNAPSE for the organisation of this successful Consortium Meeting. We are very much looking forward to meeting again for the next edition!
